The design of the Shanghai Far East FRP Boat Co. has been thoroughly tested over a long period and thus ensures is one of the best available. The fact that it has been carefully developed to take advantage of the very strict one design rules and that they place great emphasis on attention to the smallest detail, has enabled us to sell one of the best finished and highest quality Optimist you will find.
To ensure a light, fast, but stiff hull, with the right required level of longevity, they utilise advanced regulated vacuum finishing techniques, which has been used for many years. This process guarantees a long lasting and very competent boat.
